eTransport
The
project “System combining E-ticketing, Customer Loyalty, and physical
access in transportation means” was about the creation of a complete
platform comprised of software and equipment, which offered Customer
Loyalty, E-ticketing and passenger physical access services, with the
use of innovative technologies, including wireless smart-cards and RFID tickets.
The
application of these services allows a number of
involved agents, such as shipping companies, to excel, by giving emphasis on
time-consuming routes that require passenger cabins, companies that use
passenger Loyalty systems, railway companies, which give emphasis on
time-consuming routes by wagon-lit, as well as the passengers themselves,
who will make use of the new services.
